| Bircher Muesli |
This is a yummy, nutritious breakfast meal that can last you all week. Just set aside some time to make it and you’re good to go for however long it lasts you!
Note: As with all recipes, you can tweak it however you want to suit your tastes and dietary requirements.

– The oats stay in your stomach longer, so it makes you feel full longer. You will have less hunger and cravings.
– Provides high levels of fibre, low levels of fat, and high levels of protein.
| Ingredients |
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup yoghurt (I use jalna – either fat free natural or low fat vanilla)
500ml milk (use milk with the latest expiry date so it lasts longer)
300ml apple juice
1 cup of blueberries
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1 Tablespoon of dried pineapple
| What To Do |
Simply put all the ingredients together in a large bowl, mix them together nicely, place glad wrap over the bowl then pop it in the fridge. When breakfast rolls around just scoop out the desired amount and you’re ready to eat!
Want more on your breakfast? Top with a bit of extra yogurt, your fave berries, sprinkle of crushed walnuts on top and you’re right to go. Bon appetite!
